I found a cheap ticket on Amtrak's Empire Builder route and took a trip to Shelby, Montana and back just so I could experience part of that journey. This was a lonely motel sign in town. Shelby purports to have about the same population as Winston but I'll be honest--I think Winston is bigger. At least Winston has a stop light.
